An influence of short-range ordering on thermodynamic properties of some Al-Zn alloys

摘要：
A method for determination of the thermodynamic coefficients (thermodynamic factors) of diffusion using short-range order parameters designed for models of regular solid solution is applied for the evaluation of the influence of short-range ordering on thermodynamic characteristics of some Al-Zn alloys whose compositions correspond to the alpha-region of the phase diagram. Shown that the method can be used for analysing the structure of the excess Gibbs energy.
