摘要
An efficient application scheme of adaptive antenna is presented in this paper for multimedia CDMA communication systems. Adaptive array antenna has been studied and considered as a promising technique to enhance the spectrum efficiency of the CDMA cellular mobile communication systems. It is a technique to control the interference that limits the capacity of the systems. However, it is a very complex and expensive technology. We propose an application scheme to apply the technique efficiently to the system in the sense of cost and complexity. We derived an analytical formula of the system performance and used it to show that the system performance can be improved with the proposed scheme applied.
