摘要
This paper provides a methodology that allows to estimate in a limited time the optimal number and location of CO2-injector wells for a given reservoir. A quality map, based on intrinsic properties of the reservoir, helps to build a sampling of well coordinates, chosen denser in the potentially good regions to inject CO2, and looser otherwise. Each of these sampled well coordinates are simulated with the help of a reservoir simulator. The results given by these elements are then interpolated by kriging and allow to determine the best position and number of injection wells. (C) 2014 The Authors. Published by Elsevier Ltd.
