摘要
Friction stir processed (FSP) hot rolled 7075 Al alloy with grain size of 5.2 mu m was investigated in the temperature range 350 degrees C-500 degrees C and strain rates from 3x10(-4) to 10(-1) s(-1). Maximum superplastic elongation of 776.4 % was achieved at 500 degrees C and strain rate 10(-3)s(-1). The microstructure evolution of FSP 7075 Al during superplastic deformation was studied by electron backscatter diffraction (EBSD). Further analyses of superplastic results indicated the main deformation mechanism of ESP 7075 Al was grain boundary sliding (GBS).
