摘要
We have numerically modeled the spatial and temporal evolution of a magnesium plasma produced by a few-tens picosecond neodymium-glass laser, taking account of the laser-plasma interaction. Moreover, optimum driver conditions for Balmer-alpha X-ray amplification in hydrogen-like ions in recombination plasmas are searched with respect to incident laser power, pulse width and wavelength. The results show that a high-power, short pulse of higher harmonics produces a more desirable plasma for this amplification.
