Crystal growth, thermodynamic and magnetic characterization of the NiIn2-2xCr2xS4 single crystals

摘要
Single crystals of NiIn2-2xCr2xS4 compounds were grown by the chemical vapour transport method. A thermodynamic study has been undertaken in order to calculate the optimal parameters of growth conditions. Low-temperature magnetic susceptibility data reveal a spin-glass-like behaviour with a transition temperature around 10 K. The high-temperature data reveal the predominance of antiferromagnetic interactions between the magnetic ions. (C) 1999 Published by Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
