摘要
Five-year-old, male, Domestic Short Hair cat was presented to the animal hospital with the problem of a weight bearing lameness of both hind limbs. There was a pain on palpation of the stifle region and both patellas were found medial luxations (grade II). The radiographic images revealed both medial patellar luxations and mild proximal tibial deformities. The surgical correction for medial patellar luxation procedure included Trochlear Wedge Recession (TWR) and imbrication of lateral retinacular fascia using Polyglyconate No. 2-0. After surgical correction, both patellas were in the trochlear groove. The cat was able to use both hind limbs in a week after the operation.
