摘要
The aim of the research was to validate the effects of accelerated ageing on the physical properties of newly-designed ultra-light three dimensional (3-D) knitted implants undergoing one-sided modification by low-temperature plasma treatment using low molecular weight fluoroorganic donors. The influence of storing the knitted medical devices for 1 or 2 years at accelerated conditions was studied taking into account their selected physical properties in relation to key usable features. The presented study is a continuation of previous research for the elaboration of a new-idea of three-dimensional implants applied in hernioplasty (general surgery), vaginoplasty and urinary incontinence treatment (urologynaecology).
