Anti-rutting Performances of Coarse Aggregate Porous Asphalt Mixtures

摘要
The anti-crack performances of coarse aggregate porous asphalt mixtures were better than those of the common fine aggregate or medium aggregate asphalt mixtures. High temperature and the vehicle loading usually lead to early rutting of porous asphalt mixtures. In this paper, the rutting tester was used to study the anti-rutting effects of the asphalt content, the porosity, the temperature on the asphalt mixture AM-40 (Maximum aggregate size is 40 mm). The rutting depth of coarse aggregate porous asphalt mixtures increased with porosity growth and temperature growth. The anti-rutting performances of three different coarse aggregate porous asphalt mixtures was compared, with the decreasing performance order of the semi-flexible asphalt mixtures, the rubber asphalt mixtures, and the pure asphalt mixtures.
