摘要
This paper presents nonlinear finite element (FE) modeling of composite slab system comprising of profiled steel deck and high performance concrete namely, Engineered Cementitious Composite (ECC) and Self-Consolidating Concrete (SCC). FE models were developed and their performance validated based on experimental results of composite slabs subjected monotonic loading to failure. Parametric studies were conducted to investigate the influence of numerical/material/geometric parameters (such as mesh size, loading constraints, strain increment factor, steel sheet-concrete interaction contact types, concrete types, total/shear span length etc.) on FE model performance. Developed FE models were used to determine behavior of twenty two experimental composite slabs in validation and further validation with performance evaluation stages. The simulated load-deflection response, strength and shear bond capacity of FE model slabs were found to be in good agreement with those obtained from their experimental counterparts.
