摘要
A novel class AB Differential Difference Amplifier (DDA) for use in continuous-time common-mode feedback circuits is proposed. It is based on using resistive Local Common-Mode Feedback (LCMFB) to enhance gain-bandwidth product (GBW) and dynamic operation of the common-mode feedback loop, without requiring extra static power consumption or supply voltage requirements. Simulation results for a 0.5 mu m CMOS process show an increase in open loop DC gain (ADC) of 15.3 dB and also in GBW by a factor of 5.5. Additionally, measurement results for a test chip prototype fabricated in the same process validate the proposal.
