摘要
Subcell modeling in the FDTD method is often used to improve accuracy without a significant increase in computational resources. One of the problems in this class is the modeling of wire dipole antennas. An algorithm for modeling wire dipoles with the radius in the range of 2 x 10(-6) to 2 x 10(-2) of the wavelength is described that significantly improves the accuracy of the determination of the antenna input impedance.
