Hypocalcemic myocardiopathy. Two case-reports.

摘要：

Hypocalcemia myocardiopathy is a rare cause of congestive heart failure in adults. Two cases are reported in patients with chronic hypocalcemia due to hypoparathyroidism following thyroidectomy. All symptoms of congestive heart failure resolved under calcium and vitamin D therapy, However, one of the two patients had persistent evidence of myocardiopathy on an echocardiogram done two years later, in the absence of any other cause.
