摘要
Our work focuses on the anchorage of metal rods glued in timber pieces. The objective was to determine how to reduce anchorage length, parallel to the grain, without compromising performance. Hence, the influence of the different aspects involved were analyzed: correlations between size and parameters of mechanical behavior of the materials used. Techniques of experimental and numerical analysis were combined for a progressive optimization of the joint. Double tensile tests were performed until failure, giving axial strength values and load-displacement graphs. Models of finite elements were also developed to better manage specimen construction and testing. These models, once calibrated using the experimental results, can provide an initial evaluation of performance. The geometric definition of models was automated using parametric generation. Thus, preprocessor operations were notably reduced, allowing a faster analysis of the stress response of several configurations.
