摘要
Litchi (Litchi chinensis Sonn.) is one of the major fruit crops in subtropical areas in south China. This paper reviewed the effects of drought on water status of trees, cell membrane permeability, ultrastructure, active oxygen metabolism, photosynthesis, carbohydrates, nitrogen and nucleic acid metabolisms of leaves, mineral nutrients of leaves and stems, endogenous hormones of leaves and shoot xylem-sap. Several aspects for further research were also discussed.
