Relations among reduction factors in Jahn-Teller systems of icosahedral symmetry

摘要
A formalism based on perturbation theory and symmetry considerations is used to determine relations between the first-order (Ham) reduction factors in Jahn-Teller systems of icosahedral symmetry. Analytical and numerical results for reduction factors determined previously by different authors are shown to satisfy the sum rules obtained.
