Grand Unified Models in Heterotic Asymmetric Orbifolds

We consider string realization of E-6 SUSY GUT with adjoint Higgs fields in heterotic string theory. We require minimum phenomenological requirements for E-6 SUSY GUTs (four-dimensional N = 1 supersymmetry, E-6 grand unified group, three generations and adjoint representation Higgs fields) for our string model building. In order to realize an adjoint Higgs field, we use diagonal embedding method and utilize lattice engineering technique for the model building. In the framework of Z(12) heterotic asymmetric orbifold construction, we obtain two more three-family E-6 models with an adjoint Higgs field.
