摘要
A novel leaky-wave antenna (LWA) with beam scanning performance based on the substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) is presented. The antenna is consisted of the composite right/left handed (CRLH) transmission line (TL) incorporating shunt varactors and it exhibits a good scanning capability from -49 degrees to 22 degrees at 8.4GHz. The realized gain is shown to be better than 10dBi with low gain fluctuation. The proposed leaky-wave antenna shows some desirable merits such as low cost, low loss and easy integration, which has a good prospect for practical applications.
