摘要
Barium Strontium Titanate ceramics (Ba0.6Sr0.4)TiO3 was synthesized by the reaction of barium carbonate, strontium carbonate and rutile in requisite proportions. Cobalt oxide was used as a dopant. The sintered compacts were characterized by the measurement of different physico-mechanical properties. XRD and SEM analyses were done to characterize the microstructure of the sintered samples. Dielectric properties of the samples were measured at different frequencies. The maximum value of dielectric constant was obtained in the BST sample with 0.5 wt % Co-dopant concentration at low frequency. The doped BST samples exhibited low loss factor at 0.1 kHz and 1 kHz frequencies respectfully. The new compositions developed in this study can find applications in tuned circuits.
