摘要
Object-based 3d audio has attracted many audio content makers and audio engineers. This kind of audio signal gives the listener a more realistic sound effect around him than, for instance, stereo or surround. An audio object is a type of signal which consists of two parts PCM (pure audio content) and metadata (additional information on how objects should be rendered). A component that handles object-based signals is called object renderer which adjusts audio content based on metadata. In this paper, an evaluation of object renderer on DSP platform is reported with an example of assembly implementation within the MPEG-H system.
