摘要
We are presenting here a Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) based algorithm for measurement of power system frequency and phase angle parameter intended to design a low cost Phasor Measurement Unit (PMU) device. Problems found in implementation of FFT on sampled data of power signal with harmonics are solved by using the Goertzel algorithm. Selection of different design parameters is discussed in detail. In order to make the design very inexpensive a raspberry pi board is being used here. Analysis of measured parameters of simulated signal as well as power signal of lab supply is also discussed here.
