摘要
This paper presents an electromagnetic transducer, which is powered by an Impulse Eddy Current Testing system. The transducer is designated to identify artificial defects in test specimens made of titanium. It consists of one excitation coil and two detection coils fabricated on two layers of a printed circuit board. Numerical analysis of the excitation coil was carried out to investigate a magnetic field and an eddy current density near the surface of the examined specimen.
