摘要
Fixed implant-based restorations are usually cemented or screw-retained. The disadvantages of one method are the advantages of the other. The main advantages of screw-retained restorations are predictable retrievability and ease of use. On the other hand, the main disadvantages of cemented restorations may be cement residues and unpredictable retrievability. This article features an overview of the possible indications for different cements and provides practical advice on how to avoid the drawbacks of cemented restorations.
