摘要：

A novel Optical Add-Drop Multiplexer node architecture, with ultra fast self healing mechanism, in an unidirectional ring is presented. A system model to evaluate the effect of the Crosstalk and EDFA noise accumulation on transmission performances is proposed. BER estimation in a closed ring architecture has been evaluated.
