摘要：

Building an efficient bus management system (BMS) is necessary to help reducing the congestion in urban transportation and providing the passenger convenience. Its communication network demands the collection of real-time information from the buses to the control center of BMS and offers various useful information for passengers and bus drivers. DSRC (Dedicated Short Range Communication) is applied specifically in city bus for communication aim. However, DSRC cannot connect to the Internet due to its short communication range. The power line communication of street light is proposed to solve this problem in this paper. And system architecture and application service available are discussed further.
