摘要
This paper investigates the bandwidth/phase extension for a reflection-type phase-shifter, which comprises a lumped 3 dB branch-line coupler and reflective load. A broadband 90 degrees coupler is designed and compared to conventional narrowband lumped coupler. Furthermore, the impact on deviation of relative phase tunning range of the phase shifter applied by reflective loads is observed for sub-6 GHz application. Experimental result showed that the operating bandwidth of the reflection-type phase shifter is maintained while the relative deviation of phase variation can be lower than +/- 10 degrees at desired frequency band.
