摘要
The deflection of members must be controlled in order that recycled aggregates are used as structural materials. Flexural properties of 27 reinforced concrete beams with recycled aggregate and 3 reinforced concrete beams with ordinary aggregate are investigated experimentally. The calculating method of stiffness of reinforced concrete beams with recycled aggregate is studied. The results show that the mid-span deflection of recycled coarse aggregate concrete beam is larger than that of ordinary aggregate concrete beam. The internal force arm coefficient, comprehensive coefficient of average strain and non-uniformly distributed strain coefficient of longitudinal tensile reinforcement of reinforced concrete beams with recycled aggregate are obtained by the result of experiments. The expression of flexural stiffness of reinforced concrete beams with recycled coarse aggregate is presented. The calculated values of mid-span deflection of recycled coarse aggregate beams are in good agreement with the test values obtained by other researchers.
