摘要
The mechanism of combustion in simple and complex carbide systems as Me - C (where Me - Ti, W, Mo, Cr, Nb, etc.) and SiO2-Al-C in the presence of halogen-containing organic additives is investigated. It is shown that the halogenides of metals, which form during combustion strongly intensify process of mass transfer and promote proceeding of carbidization at rather low temperatures, including the low-exothermic and hard burning systems. Phenomenon and effects earlier unknown in SHS are found out and investigated. Macrokinetic peculiarities of combustion for carbide systems under the conditions of activation and main advantages of the approach offered are revealed.
