摘要
The capacity of both uplink and downlink Multiple-input Multiple-output (MIMO) cellular systems, where the co-channel interference (CCI) limits the system capacity more than thermal noise, is investigated in this paper. We evaluate the overall system capacity when Space-time block codes (STBC) are employed. The concept of a spatially pre-whitened filter is used to optimize the performance in interference correlated between receive antennas.
