摘要
A multiband novel planer monopole antenna with added L & U shaped monopoles is introduced in this paper. It exhibits good 10dB bandwidth for return loss from 858 to 931 MHz, from 1.571 to 2.845 GHz, from 3.42 to 4.42GHz and from 5.26 to 6.32GHz covering GSM,GPS,DCS,PCS,UMTS,WLAN bands 2.4/5.2/5.8 GHz and WiMAX bands 2.5/3.5/5.5 GHz. The antenna occupies an overall dimension of 92mm x 48 mm. Simulations results show good antenna performance in all frequency bands such as reasonable gain and omni-directional radiation pattern.
