摘要
Validation of voltage and reactive power optimization is a challenging task when the distributed generation is integrated to large power distribution systems. In this paper, we show a proposed approach to performing time-sequential simulations based on long-term measurements and the statistical detection of conditions of interest. This method identifies the most significant voltage phenomena that occur when regulating equipment operates in the presence of distributed generation. The systematic detection of scenarios and detailed simulations are obtained from the OpenDSS simulation of the EPRI Ckt24 test. circuit. We anticipate that this approach can be used in additional applications as topological reconfiguration, storage control, and operation assessment among others.
