摘要：

This paper presents fingerprint registration in a fingerprint database using phase-only correlation (POC) techniques. There are presented two mod fled phase-only correlation techniques with efficient registration results: a rectangle band limited phase-only correlation, BPOC, and an elliptic limited phase-only correlation, EPOC - proposed by the authors, The results of the computer simulations of these two POC methods are analyzed on the same fingerprint database. This analysis denotes that the proposed method HPOC has better performances that? BPOC method for fingerprint registration in a database.
