Creep-induced magnetic anisotropy in amorphous Fe25Co60B15

摘要
Mossbauer, magnetic and XRD measurements have been performed on Fe25Co60B15 in order to obtain information about the induced anisotropy upon annealing under external stress along the ribbon length. Results show that the anisotropic atomic rearrangements associated with stress annealing induce magnetic anisotropy in a plane perpendicular to the stress axis. The large out-of-plane anisotropy may partly be attributed to surface crystallization in the annealed specimen.
