摘要
Optical back propagation techniques that utilize two highly nonlinear fibers to compensate for transmission fiber nonlinear effects are analyzed. When the step-size is equal to the amplifier spacing, inline compensation of fiber nonlinearity without inline dispersion compensation provides the best performance. (C) 2012 Elsevier Inc.
