Study on the New Model of College English Teaching under the Setting of Multimodality

In this paper, the authors looked back on the study of multimodal discourse in China and other countries, explored and constructed the new model of College English teaching under the setting of multimodality. This new model gets rid of the constraints of the traditional teaching model, guides the students to study English language in an active and flexible way to adapt to the English teaching model of diversity, network and individualization. In the end, the authors put forward the new task for other researchers to explore.
