Online Child Sexual Abuse: A Greek Reality

Internet is an important development in modern society. Literature review confirms that a large proportion of poeple's time spent on the web has to do with sexual activity. Internet pornography becomes more extensive and may have an impact on children. The current study will explore how extensive online child abuse is on children in Greece. Hundred boys and girls from different schools, age range 12-18 years completed the questionnaire. It was revealed from the research findings that a small percentage of pupils have been sexually abuse through internet. However, it is a matter of great concern for parents and society in general to what effects such activity may have to children.
