摘要
Ho3Rh single crystal exhibits anisotropic properties. An ordering of holmium sublattice at 35 K and a spin reorientation process at 25 K in the magnetization, dc and ac magnetic susceptibility is observed. The electrical resistivity measurements confirm these phenomena. The temperature dependence of the lattice parameters and the unit cell volume show a magnetovolume effect below the ordering temperature. The XPS electronic structure measurements indicate hybridization of the rhodium 4d states and conduction band, which influences the properties of Ho3Rh. (C) 2002 Published by Elsevier Science B.V.
