摘要：
Annually about 60 million tons of fly ash is being produced in India. Fly ash or fly ash-soil mixtures can be used in the construction of embankments. The paper describes the results of an experimental study carried out to determine the geotechnical characteristics of fly ash and fly ash-soil mixtures. The implications on the design of embankments on soft soils are discussed.
