摘要:
The case of a 36-year-old man with open craniocerebral injury caused by a high-pressure air injection accident with emphysema of the orbita, skin and pneumocephalus is reported. With absent neurologic and ophthalmologic impairment, clinical examination revealed a crepitation of the upper and lower eyelid. The CT-scan of the neurocranium and the nasal sinuses showed an orbital emphysema and a pneumocephalus. Skin and orbital emphysema and pneumocephalus declined within days with intravenous antibiotic therapy and local care of the eye. We demonstrate here an among high-pressure injection injuries rare case of a pneumocephalus with an open craniocerebral injury.
