Behavior of gas bubbles with elastic envelopes in elastic media under ultrasonic waves is studied theoretically. In the linear approximation, relatively simple expressions are derived for the scattering amplitude and the resonance frequency of radial oscillations in such media. The corresponding dispersion equation is obtained. Several limiting cases are considered, and some refinements are introduced. Viscoelastic properties of the medium are taken into account in the framework of the most simple model.
