The formation of nanocrystalline structure in amorphous Fe-Si-B alloy by severe plastic deformation

摘要
The influence of severe plastic deformation (SPD) by means of high pressure torsion (HPT) on crystallization of amorphous Fe81B13Si6 alloy has been studied. The structure, phase composition, size and morphology of precipitations formed at the room and evaluated temperatures under SPD has been investigated. Nanocrystallization of the alloy at SPD takes place after reaching of some degree of deformation. It was established that the distribution of the crystalline precipitations is irregular.
