Electrochemical Determination of Dopamine Using a Mesoporous MnO2/Polypyrrole-Modified Electrode

摘要
A mseoporous MnO2/polypyrrole (MnO2/Ppy)-modified glassy carbon electrode for the determination of dopamine (DA) is described. Owing to the specific mesoporous channels, excellent conductivity and large surface area of the MnO2/Ppy nanohybrid, the MnO2/Ppy-modified electrode greatly increases the oxidation peak current of DA. Based on this, a highly sensitive, rapid and convenient electrochemical method was developed for the determination DA. The linear range is from 3.0 nM to 0.1 mu M and 0.3 mu M to 5.0 mu M, the limit of detection is estimated to be 1.0 nM. The method was successfully used to determine DA in human serum samples.
