摘要：

This paper introduces the existing lack of IETM multimedia retrieval, the overview of ontology languages for the semantic Web is introduced, OWL Lite is selected as ontology language of IETM multimedia, explores IETM multimedia OWL (Ontology Web Language) ontology construction thirdly,, OWL instance the IETM multimedia entity representation, research results can be propitious to the IETM application widely.
