摘要:
Study on accelerated life test scheme is conducted according to the life test load spectrum of a certain type of air turbine starter. Through comparison and analysis of the failure modes and durability simulation results of the air turbine starter, the study identifies the main component failure mechanism of the air turbine starter. Based on the failure mechanism derived from analysis, and with the Miner accumulated damage theory, the mathematical model for two accelerated life tests involving increasing torque load and extending high-rotation-speed dwell time is developed. The equivalent acceleration coefficient is determined by computation, and the program of carrying out the accelerated life test on the basis of the existing test conditions is developed. According to the analysis results, this accelerated life test program is feasible and could provide a basis for the life design and test schedule development of the air turbine starter.
