摘要
An attempt has been made to produce no-carrier-added (nca) Ru-97 for the first time from the C-12-induced reaction on yttrium target. A Y-nat foil of 10 mg/cm(2) thickness was irradiated by 75 MeV C-12 beams for 3.5 h and a thick target yield of 514 kBq/mu A h for Ru-97 and 338 kBq/mu A h for Tc-95 was achieved. The nca Ru-97 and coproduced nca Tc-95 were then radiochemically separated from the bulk target by liquid-liquid extraction (LLX). Liquid cation exchanger di-(2-ethylhexyl)phosphoric acid (HDEHP), liquid anion exchanger trioctylamine (TOA) were used in this study. The technique offers efficient chemical separation of the products, resulting in very high separation factors.
