摘要
Aiming at the problems of merely considering metamorphosis between two color images and without using the inherent correlation among the color image channels, a new non-linear method of image metamorphosis among multiple images based on bivariate rational interpolation is represented. First, a Newton-Thiele's vector valued interpolation surface is constructed for the values of RGB pixels, and then series of morphing images are generated by resampling the surface of this interpolation function. Method uses software environment VC++ 6.0 to carry out simulation study. The experimental results show that this algorithm can produce series of smooth intermediate images retaining the color, shape and texture feature of the image. Furthermore, it can greatly improve the computing efficiency compared with several other algorithms.
