摘要
On the basis of room temperature Fe-57 Mossbauer spectra for iron-based Fe-Cr solid solutions quenched from different temperatures, it is suggested that the Fe-57 Mossbauer spectroscopy can be successfully applied to the study of the thermally generated defects in the Fe-Cr systems. Using the technique one can investigate both Schottky vacancies as well as a possible thermal distortion of the lattice. (C) 2002 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
