摘要
Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) are particularly interesting within the adsorption of organic contaminants. This research investigated the adsorption of acid red 57 (AR57) and methylene blue (MB) in aqueous medium using NH2-MIL-101(Cr) as adsorbent. MOF were described by X-ray dif-fraction (XRD), N2 adsorption-desorption (BET), Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). The fabricated MOF has 1467.75 m2/g huge surface area and pore volume 2.15 cm3/g which classified as mesopores. NH2-MIL-101(Cr) demonstrated high adsorption capacity are 953.90 and 553.75 mg/g for AR57 and MB, individually. The Langmuir iso-therm was discovered as a good fitting for the laboratory results. A pseudo-second-order rate look was used to describe the mechanism of dye absorption. Similarly, the adsorption activation energy remained discovered being 48.71 and 15.91 kJ/mol for AR57 and MB respectively, imply-ing that adsorption mode is chemisorption. Thermodynamic limits like ??G??, ??H??, and ??S?? were calculated at a variety of temperatures.
