摘要
This paper presents the design and realization of a stub mounted loaded line phase shifter using a novel flexure type RF MEMS shunt switch. The design consists of a CPW transmission line with two identical stubs loaded with MEMS switches. RF MEMS switch provides the inherent advantages of linearity, low insertion loss, better RF performance as compared to p-i-n diode. Phase shifter is designed for 22.5 degrees and 45 degrees to obtain the constant Phase shift for large range of frequencies from centre frequency of 30GHz. Simulation results show that the phase shifter introduces an insertion loss of 0.06dB/bit and -1.48dB/bit for the two cases respectively and the actuation voltage of the switch is found to be 17.2V.
