摘要
Intramuscular epinephrine is the first-line treatment for anaphylaxis. For certain allergic patients, an epinephrine autoinjector (EAI) should be prescribed and educational training should be provided. In 2014, the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI) Taskforce on Anaphylaxis provided evidence-based guidelines for the diagnosis, risk factor assessment and management of anaphylaxis. Our aim here is to provide up-to-date guidelines for the prescription of an EAI for use in children and in adults as well, a prescription for a second EAT to be carried in the same sack in case the initial injection is not successful. This position statement, prepared by the Anaphylaxis, Food Allergy and Stinging insects working groups of the French Allergology Society, is based on the EAACI anaphylaxis guidelines and it provides a critical review of their recommendations.
